Hacking एक ऐसी process जिससे किसी person / group, computer system, network, software, या electronic device को access करके personal information को सुधारने उसे बदलने या उसे अपने उद्देश्य के के लिए use करने का प्रयास किया जाता है।

Types of hacking (हैकिंग के प्रकार)

Hacking विभिन्न प्रकार की होती है।

1. Ethical Hacking

ethical hacking का main purpose , computer systems और networks की security को बढ़ाना होता है। Ethical hackers किसी organization या किसी person की permission के बाद ही systems या networks को analyze करते हैं , vulnerabilities को खोजते हैं और इनसे बचने के तरीके बताते हैं।

अब हालाँकि Ethical hackers organization या किसी person की permission के बाद ही vulnerabilities को find करते हैं इसलिए यह legal action होती है।

2. Black Hat Hacking

Black hat hackers या crackers, जिन्हे कभी कभी "malicious hackers" भी कहा जाता है , computer systems और networks को गलत तरीके से अपने personal use के लिए अक्सर illegal activities करते हैं। इनका main purpose personal advantages लेना या फिर किसी को blackmail करना रहता है , ताकि अपना कोई काम करा सकें।

हालाँकि ये बिना permission के system access करते हैं इसलिए Black hat hackers ही cyber crimes के लिए जिम्मेदार होते हैं।

3. Gray Hat Hacking

Gray hat hackers, जिन्हे कभी - कभी "semi-ethical hackers" के रूप में जाना जाता है। ये किसी system या network की vulnerabilities को ढूँढ़कर उन्हें publish कर देते हैं। लेकिन ये सब वो बिना किसी permission के नहीं करते हैं।

Gray hat hackers का मैं purpose किसी किसी system की security को सुधारने और उसके बारे में aware करना होता है।

4. Hacktivism

Hacktivists, जिनके लिए "hacking" एक political या social purpose होता है। ये hackers online access करके अपने political या social message को promote करते हैं।

ये अक्सर internet पर व्यक्तिगत (personal) या सामाजिक (social) मुद्दे पर ध्यान आकर्षित करते हैं।

5. Script Kiddies

जैसा कि आप नाम से समझ सकते हैं कि ये hacking में expert नहीं होते हैं , लेकिन ये किसी और के द्वारा लिखे गए hacking tools या code/scripts का use करके hacking करते हैं।

ये अक्सर thrill या obstruction(बाधा) के लिए hacking करते हैं।
